• Visible seam separation. The epoxy bond between two slabs has failed, usually from substrate movement or inadequate clamping during cure. In Santa Clarita’s dry climate, wood substrates shrink seasonally; if the installer did not allow a 1/8-inch expansion gap at walls, the slab takes the stress instead of the joint.

Improper handling also voids Cambria’s limited lifetime warranty.
