Grant Rowan built this team to work the way he’d want someone working on his own home.

Marcus T. - Lead Technician, Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling
Marcus has been tearing out and rebuilding kitchens and bathrooms in the Santa Clarita Valley for fourteen years. He holds a California C-36 Plumbing license, which means he can reroute gas lines and drainage without calling in a subcontractor, saving most customers a day or two on their timeline. His specialty is older homes in Canyon Country and Saugus, where the original galvanized plumbing and ungrounded outlets need to be addressed before the pretty stuff goes in. Off the job, he restores vintage motorcycles and brings the same patience to a 1973 Honda crankcase that he brings to aligning KraftMaid cabinet faces.
Dana R. - Senior Installer, Roofing & Windows
Dana started as a helper on commercial flat roofs in Bakersfield before moving to residential steep-slope work in Los Angeles County twelve years ago. She is GAF Master Elite certified and Owens Corning Preferred Contractor trained, which matters in Santa Clarita because the wind corridor along Soledad Canyon can peel back a poorly fastened shingle in one season. Dana is the one who climbs up, counts the existing shingle layers, and tells you exactly why the deck is or isn’t salvageable. She keeps a running bet with herself on whether she can finish a full roof replacement in Newhall before the afternoon Santa Ana winds kick up. Her record is eleven starts, eleven finishes, zero callbacks.
Eddie V. - Service Coordinator
Eddie answers the phone when you call (747) 294-3985, and he’s the one who makes sure Marcus or Dana actually can show up when we said they would. Before joining Rowan, he coordinated logistics for a medical equipment fleet, so he’s unusually good at routing four crews across Santa Clarita, Valencia, and Castaic without the usual “we’re running behind” call. Eddie maintains the photo record system, tagging every image to the work order so customers get their documentation within two hours of the crew leaving. He lives in Stevenson Ranch, coaches a U-12 soccer team, and has developed a minor obsession with Belgard paver patterns after too many driveway consultations.
Jin K. - Apprentice, General Construction & ADU Framing
Jin is in his third year of a four-year carpentry apprenticeship through the California Apprenticeship Coordinators Association. He spends most of his time on home additions and ADU framing, where precision matters because Santa Clarita’s building department enforces the 2022 California Residential Code strictly on setback and height calculations. Jin can lay out a weep screed and lath sequence for stucco faster than some journeymen, a skill he picked up working summers with his uncle’s plastering crew in Koreatown. He asks more questions than he answers, which is exactly what you want from someone cutting into your existing roofline.
